BiAMP TESIRA/CANVAS
SPECIAL PROJECT @ PINNACLE BANK ARENA
BIAMP TESIRA AUDIO PROCESSING
Pinnacle Bank Arena, otherwise known as the West Haymarket Arena, has over 32 separate zones of audio. From the Line Arrays to the Floor Downfills and to the Restroom speakers; all of these are managed by the Biamp Tesira family processors.
When I joined the arena, the A/V supervisor consistently spoke about how inconvenient having to dissconnect from one server and connect to the other was. Especially when access to the audio processors’ controls could be time sensitive. In response, I was able to take some online training from Biamp and understand exactly how these systems could work together.
We decided to combine the programming of both systems into one Tesira Configuration file, and (almost) completely redesigned the control surface used by all Audio/Video and IT technicians to control the Mutes, Levels, EQs, and Delays of these 32 zones. During this redesign, I added Fire Alarm integration, secondary routing controls for concourses and restrooms. All features requested by the A/V supervisor, that at one or more times were needed by an event but the arena could not accommodate.
